  Prior to starting DataComm Networks, the founders were Information Technology Engineers for NCR Corporation and Storage Technology Corporation. Their experience and reputation for quality installations and maintenance of multi-million dollar mainframe solutions for major National Accounts were fundamental in the success of launching DataComm in the mid-eighties. These two individuals have been instrumental in the company's continued growth, providing direction toward the future, while still remembering the past. Jim Hopstetter has a degree in management and marketing from the University of South Florida. |
 Brian Boyer is DataComm’s President and Chief Executive Officer. Brian joined DataComm in 1989 after attending Flagler College and the University of North Carolina. Brian is versed in all aspects of Local and Wide Area Network and IP Telephony Systems design for Financial Institutions – from Denovo organizations to banks with more than $2B in assets. Brian is a Certified Project Management Professional and is sales certified in solutions from Microsoft, Cisco, and ShoreTel and has sold more than $60M in products and services in his tenure. Brian has been involved in the design, implementation and project management of more than 300 network systems for financial institutions throughout the United States and Caribbean markets. He is knowledgeable of both in-house and outsourced banking solutions from vendors like Jack Henry, Fiserv, Fidelity, Sparak, and others. Brian has managed large scale projects for vendors like Unisys and NCR Corporation, and has been part of the development of many of DataComm Managed Network and Security Services. He is known for his attention to detail and customer relationships with clients throughout the markets we serve. |
 Travis Norris, a graduate of the University of South Florida, joined DataComm in 2001 and has consistently advanced within the corporation. Now acting as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for DataComm, Travis looks to utilize his long tenure combined with new ideas to continue DataComm's growth. Travis has brought a freshness to DataComm - incorporating a new look to the marketing, both web and print. He is always looking for better ways for DataComm to conduct business and has put those ideas to good use, creating custom applications that have helped streamline both accounting and technical functions. The "do-it" attitude has also allowed Travis to display his ability to adapt to many job roles. Travis is Sales Certified in Cisco, Citrix, ShoreTel, and WatchGuard. |
 Douglas Sliman, Director of Operations , is responsible for overall service delivery uniformity and product consistency across all DataComm business lines. Mr. Sliman has over 20 years of experience in technical services management and support operations. Prior to joining DataComm, responsibilities included managing banking technology service operations for a major financial technology service provider including datacenter conversions and technology rollouts to over 300 financial institutions. Mr. Sliman managed the global implementation, product operations and technology services launch in over 44 countries for one of the world’s leading Telco providers. Managed the Hospitality service Vertical for a leading global IT solutions company delivering managed technical services to over 700 Hotels, incident response centers and the migration of multiple service centers into a globally, centrally sourced Helpdesk and Network Operation Command center within Bangalore, India. Mr. Sliman’s strengths lie in his ability to simplify complex designs, identify solutions, build teams and create processes that develop complete IT solutions. Mr. Sliman is an Engineering graduate of the University of Central Florida. |
 Lee has been with DataComm Networks since 1988. Lee has served DataComm in many capacities from building cables assemblies, to order processing, sales, and project management. His current position as Customer Service Manager puts him in front of every customer… everyday. Lee supports the sales and marketing team in variety of roles. His attention to detail means that our customers don’t have to worry about remembering when their maintenance contracts are up for renewal. Need a question answered quickly… Lee is our “go to” resource. Lee and his family live in Land O’ Lakes, where Lee is heavily involved in his church. In his downtime Lee enjoys Golf, and Sports and is a big Tampa Bay Rays and Buccaneers supporter. |
 Thomas Grady joined DataComm Networks' sales team in 2009 adding 18 years of sales and marketing experience in the Technology industry. Tom has previous experience in sales and product development in the unified communications and network security & management industries offering solutions to the Financial, Education, Utilities and Commercial sectors throughout the Southeast. His breadth and depth of knowledge and experience will enhance our customer’s experience. Tom holds a bachelors degree in Marketing/Economics from St. John’s University in New York. |
 Mark joined DataComm in 2007, bringing over 25 years of Sales/Marketing experience with a key emphasis on the Information Technology industry. Most recently, he covered the Florida Territory as a Regional Account Manager for an IP Telephony vendor. Mark looks forward to pairing his 25-year track record with DataComm’s full service Systems Integration solution to meet our customers’ needs. His attention to detail and commitment in providing solutions (not just systems) makes him a perfect fit. Mark has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Louisville and is Sales Certified in the ShoreTel IP Phone System, the fastest selling pure IP phone system in the world. Mark makes his home in Tampa Bay and enjoys cycling, golf, Military, Theological History, and spending time with his family-- wife Jill and two youngsters, Ryker and Sienna. |
 Andrew Hamilton joined DataComm Network in 2010 after 22 years of working for three financial industry vendors. Andrew spent two years in the US Army and attended the University of Maryland (European Division) and Seminole Community College. He started his career with a major core application vendor, in Orlando, Florida, in the operations department and then moved to inside sales and then outside sales. Andrew managed relationships with IBM and NCR and participated in the convention services area. He then went to work for a data processing company based in Birmingham, Alabama, selling data processing services and ancillary services to financial institutions. The company was acquired by a company based in Atlanta, Georgia, who added additional ancillary products and services such as ATM/EFT. At that time, he moved into account management and inside sales. After being involved with the core banking arena for 17 years, he moved into managed security services working for a Connecticut based company. He is very excited to have joined DataComm with their 24 years of relationship building experience and high level of commitment to the customers long term benefit. He makes his home in Central Florida and is married with two children. |
 Don is a highly experienced sales & marketing professional who came to DataComm 20 years ago and has been an integral part of DataComm’s growth from a Cable Assembly company to the full service Systems Integration powerhouse of today. He came to DataComm from Telecredit (now a Fidelity Information Services Div.) where he was VP responsible for National Expansion culminating in setting a company sales record of 10,000 new accounts in a single month. Don holds a business degree from the University of Southern California. |
 Bob has been involved with telecom for over 30 years (with DataComm for 15) and is responsible for the project management of DataComm’s nationwide cable installation projects, including compliance with state and local building codes as well as safety standards. Bob’s analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills in managing our service commitments to Albertson’s Stores earned DataComm the highest marks of excellence resulting in their turning to us exclusively for Cable installations in the State of Florida. |
 Ramelle Meitzler is DataComm’s Technical Services Coordinator and is responsible for providing customer project coordination and support services to our entire engineering staff. She maintains key DataComm project deliverables such as technical documentation, staff assignments, incident recording and response management services for all aspects of our service delivery organization. Ramelle comes to DataComm with over 25 years of experience in the Financial services industry. Starting in the Credit Union industry in her hometown of Baton Rouge LA, she moved to Commercial and Retail banking with several major financial groups. Most recently, she worked for a major financial services provider as a Senior Technical Writer establishing corporate standards for customer support documentation, training, procedural and policy manuals. Ramelle managed staff coordination for data center conversions, technology migrations, product presentations, research/development and testing of new software releases for financial service applications. Ramelle is a expert organizer and brings to DataComm, her extensive skills in LAN/WAN Technology project coordination, organization and her commitment in delivering exceptional customer service. |
 DataComm was founded over 26 years ago discovering a niche market in custom computer cables for large mainframes and Miguel was hired that year as DataComm’s first Production Supervisor. His skill in quality control, design and database inventory management, set the tone for all new managers as DataComm opened new departments as the company grew into its present size. |
