Managed Security

SMARTNOC provides comprehensive Security monitoring of DataComm’s SECURSHIELD IDS/IPS appliance. Perimeter is guarded by External Intrusion Prevention technology. Service includes Live Events and Monitoring. You receive Monthly Logs for Federal examinations to assist with growing your regulatory compliance requirements. (Internal Intrusion Detection Sensor can be included). Base monthly fee includes Security Monitoring and Reporting, Live proactive security monitoring 24x7x365, including Holidays, and a redundant remote backup Disaster Recovery Site.

Network Management

Our SMARTNOC certified experts do the chores that keep you bogged down and behind. Base monitoring fee includes Help Desk for ALL of your LAN/WAN issues from (2) hours per month to (16) hours per month. In addition to Help Desk our scalable services selections lets you add devices (Servers, PCs, etc) for monitoring. Your selected devices will receive early warnings of future failures. Our certified engineers look at Event Viewers, Server Memory, Hard Drive, NIC Use & Utilization thresholds providing a “Heads Up” before they can disrupt your business.

We also install and perform Server Hot Fixes, Security Updates and Antivirus (Requires Computer Associates E-Trust). Huge time-saver. H/W & S/W Inventory reports on selected devices are sent on demand (1 per year with 30 day notice) and you receive an annual review with our staff (analyze trending metrics; recommend improvements on all selected devices). Help Desk and live monitoring hours: 8AM-6PM Monday-Friday. Eastern Time Zone. Closed DataComm Holidays. Automated Monitoring 24x7x365.
